Absentee Ballots

To request an absentee ballot you may request one online at Maine.gov, contact the Town Office by phone or you may come to the Town Office to obtain one. Absentee ballots will be made available thirty days before the election. Due to a new State law absentee ballots will not be issued after the close of business on the Thursday before the election unless there are special circumstances. In that case, a special circumstances application would need to be completed.

Absentee ballots must be received by 8 pm on Election Day in order to be counted. Any absentee ballots received after this time will not be counted.
