Thanks for the update.
We in the Bangor area have had an organizational meeting.
We discussed the suggestion from you of joining the other SWII communities
to form a statewide organization. The response was positive as long as we
would also have autonomy as a local group, and as long as
assessments/disbursements, if any, were based on population or some other
equitable method.
We elected Allan Thomas of Veazie as our local chairperson. I will continue
as liaison with you for continuity purposes.
We have established a message board for the stormwater group on the Veazie
web site. I will be posting all of our communications to the message board
to share information with the Bangor group.
We have tabulated the populations of each town in the Bangor group for
allocation of assessments/disbursements. We also did this for all 28 SWII
communities.
