In August of 2002 the Veazie Fire Department welcomed the arrival of this 2002 E-One 110' aerial truck.  It has a 2000 gallon per minute pump, 480 gallon water tank with 20 gallons of foam, 500 feet of 4 inch supply line and 800 feet of attack hose, a compliment of ground ladders and an aerial ladder with a pre-piped waterway and a compliment of hand tools and rescue equipment.

3172009_84510_0.jpgVeazie Engine 192 was purchased through Greenwood Emergency Vehicles out of Brunswick, Maine and manufactured by E-One Emergency Vehicles out of Ocala, Florida.  It was put into service in November of 2008 as a replacement for Engine 193.  Engine 193 was a 1980 Mack pumper that served the Town of Veazie valiantly for 28 years. Engine 192 is a E-One Typhoon Rescue Pumper.  The Rescue body has larger compartments, allowing for more equipment storage.  192 has a 1500 GPM (gallons per minutes) Hale Q-Max pump with an integrated class A foam system.  It holds 750 gallons of water and 30 gallons of class A foam.  Engine 192 was manufactured to meet all of the new NFPA and OSHA safety standards. Engine 192 also meets the new Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Exhaust Emissions 2007 standard.  By reducing the exhaust emissions, this new fire engine is more environmentally friendly.
