Veazie's economy is highly integrated with the region's economy. Casco Bay Energy, LLC. operates the Maine Independence Station which is a 520MW natural gas fired combined cycle power plant. Veazie is also home to a number of firms that are related and are in the construction industry. These firms include American Concrete Industries, Gagne Precast Concrete and Lou Silver, Inc.

Approximately 50% of the Town's land base, which measures approximately 4.2 square miles, is currently developed. The Orono-Veazie Water District and the Veazie Sewer District provide service to Veazie residential and commercial properties. Bangor Hydro Electrical provides three phase service to many areas of the community and to all commercial and industrial areas.
