The Veazie Police Department would like to remind you that ALL EMERGENCY CALLS should be placed to the Penobscot Regional Dispatch by dialing 911. Any non-emergency calls will be answered during business hours at 947-2358.

Veazie Police The Veazie Police Department is a progressive community policing based department, providing 24-hour public safety coverage for the citizens of the Town of Veazie. Typical department duties include standard and directed patrol, call answering, public service and complaint investigation.

The Police Department is comprised of four full-time Patrol officers, and five part-time Reserve Officers. The members of the Police Department make up a diverse workforce with a variety of skills, to include emergency medical training, hostate negoiations, OUI enforcement, and incident response to terrorist bombings.

The Veazie Police Department regularly conducts a variety of public service and public safety activities. The department provides public service in the forms of school and pedestrian crossing, as well as business and residential house checks at the owner's request. Currently, the department is participating in the statewide "Buckle Up Maine" seatbelt enforcement initiative.
