Absentee Ballots

A recent change in Maine law makes it even easier to cast an absentee ballot.  Maine law now allows for 'no reason' absentee ballots.  You do not have to be out-of-town or have any other reason to take advantage of this easy way to vote at a time that is most convenient to you.

To request an absentee ballot you may contact the Town Office by phone or you may come to the Town Office to obtain one.  Absentee ballots will be made available thirty days before the election.

Absentee ballots must be received by 8:00p.m. on Election Day in order to be counted.  Any absentee ballots received after this time will not be counted.
